Safety & Service Standards

Our equipment preparation and service approach is built around responsibility, reliability, and clear communication.

Prepared with a Safety-Conscious Approach

Safe Sports Rentals is not a certified body. We do not make claims beyond our scope. What we do commit to is a consistent, responsible approach to every hire.

Equipment Preparation

Before every hire period, each item in the hire range is physically checked. Balls are inflated to correct pressure, nets are inspected for damage, and hard equipment is checked for structural integrity.

Responsible Equipment Handling

Equipment handling follows a consistent approach aligned with responsible practices. Items are stored correctly between hires, transported securely, and packed to prevent damage in transit.

Age-Appropriate Equipment

We specify the appropriate size and weight of equipment for the intended age group. Schools and junior clubs receive correctly sized balls, lighter equipment, and age-appropriate gear.

Clear Usage Guidance

Each hire includes written guidance on the correct and safe use of the equipment provided. This is particularly important for events where staff or volunteers may be less familiar with specific items.

Organised Delivery & Collection

Equipment is delivered organised and labelled — not loose in a van. A clear packing list is provided so you can verify items on arrival and again before return.

Transparent Communication

We are clear about what equipment is available, its condition, and what is included in your hire. If something is unavailable or unsuitable, we say so upfront rather than sending a substitution without notice.

The Hirer's Responsibility

Safe and responsible equipment use is a shared responsibility. Safe Sports Rentals provides equipment that is checked and prepared to a consistent standard. The hiring organisation retains responsibility for safe use during the hire period.

This includes appropriate supervision of participants, site preparation, and adhering to the usage guidance provided at point of hire.

Sports team training session

Hirer's responsibilities include:

  • Supervision of participants during use of hired equipment
  • Ensuring the activity area is clear of hazards before use
  • Confirming equipment is appropriate for the specific activity and age group
  • Conducting a brief equipment check on arrival
  • Reporting any damage or defects before the session begins
  • Following the usage guidance provided with the hire
